Shikhar Dhawan scores 1000+ Runs in Calendar Year 2013 -his aggregate being 1031 (ave.51.55) in 22 matches and becomes the third Indian(after Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli) and the sixth batsman to manage 1,000 runs or more in ODIs in 2013

Virat Kohli has scored 7 fifties in his last 8 innings in ODIs - his sequence of scores being 68 not out vs Zimbabwe; 61, 100 not out, 68 and 115 not out and 0 vs Australia and 86 & 99 vs West Indies


Overall, 6 Indian batsmen have recorded ninety nine in ODIs - Virender Sehwag, Kris Srikkanth, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. (Sehwag remained unbeaten)
Of the 8 instances of 99 by Indian batsmen in ODIs, Sachin Tendulkar has provided three - one each vs South Africa, England and Pakistan
Virat Kohli is the second Indian batsmen to register 99 vs West Indies in ODIs - the first being VVS Laxman at Nagpur on November 9, 2002
